Part III: Environment Items > Company > Creating a Company Field Value

Company

You can use Company field values to associate operators, queues, and printers.

When you define a printer, you must assign a value in the Company field. XTRAC uses this value to limit operator access to specific printers. For the operator to have access to a printer, the value in the printer Company field must match the value in the operator Company field.

Optionally, you can assign a value to the Company field when you create a queue. Currently, this value is a way for you to organize your queues. It might also be useful when you run reports.

Creating a Company Field Value

Note: To define values for the Company field, you need the Create and Company security functions as part of the security group that is associated with your entitlement set.
