Fields

Name: The name of the common field group (up to 30 characters).

Marked for Delete: If unchecked, the item is active. If checked, marks the item for deletion.

XTRAC deletes the item during the nightly batch cycle after there are no dependencies. Selecting an item and clicking Delete on the summary window also marks the item for deletion. Before the delete occurs, you can uncheck this option if you change your mind.

Note: The Marked for Delete check box is available only after an item is created.

Description: Additional information about the common field group (up to 60 characters).

Common Field Group Label: The label for the common field group that displays on the XTRAC work item (up to 30 characters). If you add a label name, XTRAC displays a border around the common field group on the work item window.

Value Group: A subset of values that are available to the operator on the work item window for this field.

Note: For the Subtype field, this value group also determines the values that display in the Show Fields On drop-down list box.

Default Value: The value that automatically displays in a field when an operator creates, updates, or resolves a work item.

Allow Override: If checked, the field in the common field group can be overridden by the work item rule. If unchecked, the field cannot be overridden.
