Paragraph Selection Rule Detail (Action Tab)

Specifies the paragraph template to be added into correspondence if the rule conditions match. See Paragraph Selection Rules.

Correspondence are letters that are sent to customers and internal messages are sent to other operators.

Fields

Description: The description of the paragraph selection rule (up to 60 characters).

Owner: The paragraph type the rule is associated with.

Event: The type of event that triggers this rule.

Because there is only one possible trigger event, XTRAC selects the PS Paragraph Selection trigger by default. This rule fires when XTRAC encounters a paragraph type marker while assembling correspondence.

Default Rule: The rule that fire when XTRAC finds a paragraph type insert code while assembling correspondence (if no other paragraph selection rule applies).

When you define a paragraph selection rule as the default rule, XTRAC disables the Condition tab.

Paragraph Template Name: The name of the paragraph template to insert if the conditions match.

You can use the drop-down list box to choose a paragraph template. The drop-down list box contains all of the paragraph templates that are associated with the selected paragraph type.

Change Request ID: The ID of the request to create or modify this XTRAC record (up to 30 characters).

Memo: The reason why this XTRAC record was created or modified (up to 60 characters).

Buttons

History: Displays the history of the component, including the following details:

Save: Saves the changes that you made in this window.

Close: Closes this window.

If you made changes in the window and have not yet clicked Save, a warning displays that all of your changes will be lost. Click Yes to close the window and discard any changes. Click No to return to the window so you can save any changes.
