User Settings

When your current password is about to expire, XRA opens the User Settings page after you log on. You can then change your password on this page.

Note: The XRA menu bar options on the User Settings page are inactive until you change your password.

The following are the requirements for creating a new password:

• Must not be similar to your old password
• A minimum of eight characters, a maximum of 20 characters
• No spaces
• Must include at least two of the following:
  • Uppercase letters (A-Z)
  • Lowercase letters (a-z)
  • Numbers (0-9)
  • Special characters (!@#$%)

To change your password

1.

On the User Settings page, do the following:

1. Old Password — type your current password.
2. New Password — type your new password.
3. Re-type New Password — type the password you entered in the New Password text box.

Click Submit.

XTRAC validates the old password. If it is incorrect, a message informs you and you need to enter it again. If it is correct, a message informs you that your password has been updated successfully.

XTRAC also checks that the new password is not similar to the old password. If they are too similar, a message informs you that there is a problem with the new password.
