Work List

The Work List displays the work items that are available for you to work with in the current queue.

To open your Work List, do one of the following:

  • From the XTRAC WorkHUB landing page, click Open Your Queue.
  • From the slide-out menu, select My Work List.
  • In the banner at the top of any page, click .

The Queues pane opens on the left and the Work List pane opens on the right.

Your XTRAC administrator specifies the order in which work items appear in the Work List pane based on priority, entry date, work item number, or work selection rules. You can change the order by clicking a heading name. For example, click the Item Type heading to sort the list by item type name.

The entitlement set associated with your operator profile specifies the following:

  • The default queue or queue group selected when you view your Work List.
  • Whether you can view work lists in different queues.
  • The types of items — such as active work items, suspended work items, and frozen work items — that appear in the work list.

To open a work item from the work list in its one page, click the work item number. To open the work item in a new, separate browser window, click when it appears next to the work item name.

Display Preferences

You can configure which columns will be displayed on the work list.

1.   In the Work List pane, click .

The Display Preferences section opens, displaying the column names that have already been configured to display.

2.   Click in the blank field to activate a drop-down list that includes all the available column names.
3.   Select a column name from the drop-down list or type the name in the field.

Note: As you type, the drop-down list is filtered to match the characters you are entering.

4.   To remove a column from being displayed, click the X next to the column name.
5.   Click Save.
6.   Click again to close the Display Preferences section.

Item Description

Displays the queue name and lists the number of work items available from the work list.

Turns Auto Refresh on or off. When Auto Refresh is on, the work list is periodically updated automatically.

Opens the Display Preferences section of the work list where you can add or remove the column names you want to be displayed.

Opens the Actions menu, which gives you access to the following actions:

Transfer work items to another queue.

Resets the list preferences to the default settings.

Export the entire work list, or only specifically selected work items to a CSV file.

Manually refresh and update the work list. This button is available only if Auto Refresh is turned off.

Click to add a work item to your Watch List. Click to remove a work item from your Watch List.
Click to copy the work item number. This button is available only when you hover the mouse over a work item number.
Click to open the work item in a new, separate browser window. This button is available only when you hover the mouse over a work item number.
Click to move to the first page of the work list.
Click to move to the previous page of the work list.
Indicates the current page and the total number of pages of the work list.
Click to move to the next page of the work list.
Click to move to the last page of the work list.
Choose how many items to display per page. You can select 50, 100 or 500.
