Home Page
The Home page is the central access point for the various components of the XTRAC Process Designer.
Navigation Buttons
The buttons at the top of the page let you navigate to the different areas of the XTRAC Process Designer. Your entitlement set determines which areas and applications you can access.

This is the User Settings button. It displays the name of the currently logged on user (in this example, PMALL is the logged on user). Click to open the User Settings window which displays account information and your current organization or entitlement set.

Main Menu
The Home page a menu divided into four major sections:
Each section includes links that open specific applications and areas of the XTRAC Process Designer.
Modeling
The Modeling menu links you to the following tasks:
- Create a New Reusable Process — A reusable process is a diagram that can be reused and referenced by other process models by leveraging the call activity shape. See Creating Process Models and Diagrams.
- Create a New Model — A model can contain one or more reusable process diagrams, but the model itself cannot be reused. See Creating Process Models and Diagrams.
- Open an Existing Model — Lets you open an existing process diagram from a list of previously saved and checked in processes. See Open an Existing Process.
Data Dictionary
The Manage the Data Dictionary link opens the Data Dictionary Editor. Use the Data Dictionary Editor to create new complex and value group data types, or edit existing data types. See Data Dictionary Concepts.
Discovery
The Get Message Schema link lets you search for specific models so you can view examples of existing message schema. You can download and view the schema in XML and JSON format. See Example Message Definitions.
Model Deployment
The Model Deployment section links you to the following tasks:
- Deploy a Model — Lets you select models from a list to be added to the Deploy Queue. See Deploy Process Models.
- View Deployment History — Lets you view the deployment status of successfully deployed processes. See View Deployment History.
This section lets you view executable processes and the XML schema that defines each message start event.
